6 O’clock Spiced Orange & Cranberry Gin | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense aromas of zesty citrus and warm spices accompany the familiar scent of juniper.

Palate: Initial flavours of tart cranberry and sweet orange provide a vibrant and balanced fruitiness, that is followed by a gentle wave of cinnamon, clove, and nutmeg, adding depth and complexity, while the classic juniper backbone remains constant throughout.

Finish: The finish is long and satisfying, with a lingering warmth and a hint of citrus zest.

Distillery Information

6 oClock Gins story begins around 30 years ago, when Edward and Penny Kain owned a fruit farm. Though it wasnt just fruit on the farm, on the side the couple made fruit liqueurs and they were pretty successful. A few years later, their children Michael and Felicity took over the distillery and set about perfecting the gin recipe. The fruit hasnt been forgotten, as alongside the classic gin theres a variety of damson and sloe gins.
