The Macallan Fifties Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 500ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Honey, caramelised malt, hints of dark fruit and burnt sugar.
Palate: Dry oloroso, chestnuts, chocolate orange and hazelnut.
Finish: Another touch of orange oil and ground ginger.
Distillery Information
Macallan offers various single malts for different tastes and occasions. The main series is the Macallan Sherry Oak. It features whiskies aged in sherry-seasoned oak casks from Jerez, Spain. These casks give flavours of dried fruits, spices, and chocolate. The 12-Year-Old Sherry Oak is a key example of this series.
