Benriach 25 Year Old 1998 – Old & Rare Platinum (Hunter Laing) Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: This deep gold coloured whisky has notes of toffee, chocolate sauce, raspberry, and fragrant tobacco on the nose.
Palate: Very fruity on the palate with mango, passion fruit, tangerine alongside honey-drizzled lemon meringue pie and a faint touch of menthol.
Finish: Lingers on the finish with mixed fruit juice and the sweetest of oak.
Distillery Information
The 1890s represent a busy time for the whisky industry with 33 new distilleries opening across Scotland. John Duff, a serial entrepreneur within the whisky industry, established Benriach in 1898.
