“Like so many liqueurs, Krupnik is thought to have monastic origins and is said to have been created in the 16th by the Bndictine monks at a monastery in Niewie in the PolishLithuanian Commonwealth, now the modern-day city of Niavi in the Minsk Region of what is now Belarus.”
