Distillery Information
Jean-Dominique Andreu and Alexandre Gabriel were the owners of Cognac Ferrand. After a number of trips to the Caribbean Andreu saw an emerging market for premium rums and started the Plantation (now Planteray) brand in 1999. The idea was to create a brand featuring several different types of rum.
