Three Year Old Deluxe Compass Box Limited Edition Blended Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes
Nose: Light and aromatic, sweet, somewhat cognac-like, sherry, pleasant and balanced.
Palate: “At the start, slightly spicy and a touch of spicy, a little sweet with a little sherry and wood notes, now the barrel note here too.”
Finish: Long with oak notes, tart to slightly bitter, ending with a slightly sweetish finish.
Distillery Information
Compass Box was launched in 2000 by the American John Glaser, who was previously International Marketing Director at Johnnie Walker. To promote his whisky, John travelled through London visiting pubs and bars with samples and, in idiosyncratic style, handing out business cards billing himself as John Glaser Whisky Zealot.
