        Producer Information

The Robert AMPEAU & Fils estate is located in Meursault, at the heart of the Cte de Beaune. Belonging to a family of winemakers from father to son, Michel Ampeau, grand-son of the founder, is currently at the head of the family estate. The vineyard covers 9.3 hectares, spread over a large number of appellations: Meursault, Meursault Premier Cru, Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru, Auxey-Duresses, Savigny les Beaune, Beaune, Pommard, Volnay Premier Cru and Blagny Premier Cru. The red wines are sweet, round and well-balanced, with well integrated tannins. They offer great persistence and aromatic complexity. The whites are very balanced and typical, intense, classic and very elegant.
