Producer Information
Maison Pierre Andr is a Burgundy brand with a range of mostly red Pinot Noir wine with a focus on the Ctes de Beaune. Formed by the eponymous Parisian wine merchant, restauranteur and innovative winemaker, it is now part of the large group Maison Francois Martenot. Red wines include village-level Aloxe-Corton, Beaune, Pommard, Monthlie, Auxey-Duresses and Mercurey. White (Chardonnay) wine comes from the Rully appellation, as well as Chablis. There are also a number of Premier and Grand Cru bottlings. The latter include Corton Grand Cru, Corton Les Renardes and Clos de Vougeot. Pierre Andr’s first purchase in Burgundy was the Chteau d’Aloxe-Corton in 1927, four years after he had founded his wine merchant business in Paris. The house owned this property under the Chteau de Corton-Andr name until 2014, when it was sold to the Frey family, in turn becoming Chteau Corton C.
