Producer Information
Domaine Guyon is a Burgundy wine producer located in the commune of Vosne-Romane. It poroduces a portfolio of wines from Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc. In the winery, the grapes are treated with a hands-off approach with whole clusters and wild yeasts from the vineyard employed for fermentation. Each plot of Pinot Noir is kept as a seperate ferment with oxygen gently introduced through pumping-over. The red portfolio spends approximately 13 months barrel-aging prior to bottling. The Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc are fermented in barrels kept at low temperatures to maximise the expression of fresh fruit characteristics. Notable appellations produced include the Savigny-les-Beaune Les Planchots and Nuit-Saint-Georges Les Argillats.
