      Reviews:

      • Wine Advocate: The opaque ruby/purple-colored 1996 Barolo Cerequio possesses extremely high tannin and extract, but it is very backward, closed and firm. Full-bodied, powerful, and rich, but broodingly backward and stubborn, it possesses all the correct component parts, but patience will be required by potential purchasers.
      • James Suckling: A sensual and decadent wine with dried berry and meat plus hints of cedar. Full-bodied and very fresh still, yet powerful and complete. A fabulous wine.

There are six different parcels of in a range of Barolo crus: Brunate, Cerequio, Capalot, La Serra, Pozzo dell’Anunziata and Sarmassa di Barolo, which are all sources for individual cuves. In addition, 2013 saw the release of the first vintage the 2003 of the Fossati Case Nere 10 Anni Riserva. The portfolio is completed by two leading Barbera d’Alba wines (including the benchmark Vignasse), a Dolcetto d’Alba, a Langhe Merlot, and a Langhe Nebbiolo.
