Blair Athol 15 Year Old That Boutique-y Whisky Company Single Malt Scotch Whisky | 700ML Tasting Notes

Nose: Crisp layers of honeyed orchard fruits and sweet, biscuity malt lead to a touch of cider, oaken spice, and delicate char.

Palate: Sweet malt loaf, marmalade, vanilla pods, and summer grasses cushion delicate spices nestling in the depths.

Finish: A hint of fresh ginger brings some warmth to the finish, with vanilla honey and vibrant barley in tow.

Distillery Information

Blair Athol was founded in 1798 by John Stewart and Robert Robertson. The location at the southern end of Pitlochry in the Highlands was chosen because of its proximity to the Allt-Dour burn. As a result, the original name of the distillery was Aldour.
