Nose: The nose offers aromas of soft vanilla, ripe tropical fruits, heather honey and charred oak.
Palate: Ginger, cinnamon and black pepper are balanced by creamy fudge and shortbread biscuits, with hints of toasted pine nuts, milk chocolate and toffee.
Finish: The finish is long and lush, with lingering vanilla and delicate oak.
Distillery Information
William Sanderson, Andrew Usher, and John M Crabbie founded North British in 1885 as a joint business venture. All of the distillery’s founders came from a background of independent blending, and wanted to expand their businesses by launching the distillery.
