Secret Stills Isle of Skye Talisker 21 Year Old Gordon & MacPhail BTLD 2007 First Fill Sherry Single Malt Scotch Whisky Tasting Notes

Nose: Orthodox and high-quality sherry barrels, the style is between old school and new school, raisin, caramel, pudding, cream, tobacco.

Palate: Very sweet and comfortable taste, with well-organized elements, px syrup, cream, candied orange flesh, mint, raw nuts, ground nuts.

Finish: Slightly astringent, a touch of citrus bitterness, ash, sticky, strong aftertaste.

Talisker is the oldest working distillery on the Isle of Skye, enjoying a long and very successful history. Talisker has been the recipient of numerous accolades and medals from prestigious national and international competitions and boasts an incredible core range that includes Talisker 10 Year Old, a gold medal winner at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2017 and ‘Best Islands Single Malt’ at the 2017 World Whiskies Awards, as well as Talisker 18 Year Old, which won Best Single Malt In The World’ at the World Whiskies Awards 2007.
