Nose: Dark fruit, burnt treacle, apple, cinnamon, and fresh malt.

Palate: Blackcurrant compote, dark chocolate, nutmeg, raisins, and vanilla.

Finish: Coconut, baking spice, and red Wine Gums.

Cardrona was started in 2011 by Desiree Reid. At first, it was just an idea: Desiree wanted to put New Zealand on the whisky map. She knew that she wouldn’t achieve her dream by creating a “me too” product, so established the core value of attention to detail in the production of her whiskies.
