The Glenlivet Master Distiller’s Reserve Small Batch Single Malt Whiskey | 1L Tasting Notes
Nose: Chocolate and sultana from the Sherry casks, surrounded by layers of Seville orange marmalade and Custard Creams.
Palate: Fresh oak spice, more raisin and orange, oily barley.
Finish: Long and packed with orchard blossom and apricot.
Distillery Information
It was founded in 1824 and has operated almost continuously since. The distillery remained open throughout the Great Depression and its only closure came during World War II. The Glenlivet distillery has grown in the post-war period to become one of the biggest single malt distilleries.
