Distillery Information
The Tomintoul Glenlivet Distillery Ltd was formed in the early 1960s by the merger of two Glasgow whisky brokers W&S Strong and Co., and Hay and MacLeod & Co. The group’s aim was to build a new Speyside distillery to satisfy a surge in demand for malt whisky.
