Two Stacks x Irishmalts Double Distilled 6 Year Old Single Malt PX Finish Tasting Notes

Nose: Burst of cherries & raisins on the nose, notes of red apple, Christmas cake, sultanas & figs.

Palate: Lovely soft palate, nice layer of juicy fruits, with a coating of toasted almonds, currants, red cranberries and chocolate around the mouth.

Finish: Nice long sweet PX finish, a true Sherry bomb.

Distillery Information

Ireland once had a rich history of cask bonding. A key lifeblood to the industry, where many towns and cities across the country had family ran businesses, big and small operating as bonders, grocers and merchants. Purchasing directly from established distilleries, the casks were left to mature before its subsequent bottling under the respective owners own label.
